The NM-i17xx-MP83 chromax.black mounting upgrade kit allows you to retrofit older Noctua CPU coolers with an 83 mm mounting distance for Intel's LGA 1700 platform (LGA17xx family). The black-colored components of this chromax.black edition provide a subtle look in a uniform color. The set is also compatible with coolers that have been on the market for a while, contributing to the reduction of unnecessary waste and saving valuable resources.

Thanks to the square layout of the mounting holes on LGA 1700, it is possible to install a cooler rotated by 90° using the NM-i17xx sets without any issues. This assumes that there is sufficient space available and no other components are obstructing.
