The cable consists of three twisted strands of OFC copper (oxygen-free copper) and three twisted strands of SPC copper (silver-plated oxygen-free copper). This special construction, due to the proportion of silver-plated conductors, significantly improves transmission, especially in the high/midrange frequency range. The outer sheath of this Oehlbach cable is made from a durable and flexible plastic blend.
