The caller lock, with up to 50 list positions, rejects unwanted calls from known numbers, entire area codes from within Germany and abroad, and even callers with anonymous numbers. For undisturbed downtime, the night mode suppresses ringing for a desired period of time, even during the day. Those who work when others are asleep can thus sleep in peace during the day. Individuals you want to remain available to at all times can be placed on a VIP list, and the TGK320 features advanced answering machine functions, allowing it to "forward" new messages to a previously stored phone number. A code protects personal messages from unauthorized access. At home, the base station alerts you to new messages twice a minute with a warning tone. It also allows fast forwarding and rewinding within a message, which is particularly practical for writing down a telephone number without having to replay the entire message from the beginning.
