Cooling Performance: The shroud enhances the cooling efficiency of your fan-radiator combination. Installed between the fan and radiator, it allows air to distribute in the pre-chamber, resulting in better airflow across the entire cooling surface of the radiator. When a fan is mounted directly on the radiator, the fan motor creates a dead zone behind it, leaving part of the radiator surface unused and unable to contribute to cooling. Multiple shrouds can also be connected in series with longer screws, further improving the fan's efficiency.

Aesthetics: The appearance of your PC is becoming increasingly important alongside performance. Phobya has taken this into account by crafting the pre-chambers from acrylic. LED fans create an interesting glow that becomes a focal point in the system. If the brightness of the fans is insufficient, you can install two 5mm LEDs on each of the two sides. This breathes life into the previously visually dead space between the fan and radiator!
