PrimaCreator FlexPlate - Powder-coated PEI for Creality K1

PEI Coated

PrimaCreator's PEI Ultem (Polyetherimide) is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free build surface for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold). Other materials such as metal, wood, PETG, ABS+, and many more are also well-suited. You do not need any additional adhesives like glue or tape. PEI is attractive because it does not require surface pre-treatment, making it easy to work with. Additionally, no support rafts are needed for printing on PEI, as the parts adhere directly to the surface without any issues.

How to Use

Attach the plate with the PEI side facing up to the build plate. Thanks to the magnets in the plate, this is very easy. You don’t need glue, but if you want to print something large or long-term, we recommend the PrimaFix glue stick to ensure your parts adhere even better and are easier to remove after printing. After printing, simply let the plate cool down, take it out, and gently bend it. You can then easily peel the model off the plate.

Wipe your PEI surface with 70-91% isopropyl alcohol before each print to ensure that you remove any grease or other residues that may have accumulated on the surface. This will significantly improve surface adhesion. Use acetone, isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, or soap to clean your PEI after use.
