Better adhesion for 3D printing – less warping thanks to PEI Ultem coating for your 3D printer. PEI Ultem (Polyetherimide) from Prima Filaments is a reusable, relatively low-maintenance film designed to optimize surfaces. This allows for better adhesion and reduced warping. Use it for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold). You can also use it for other filaments like metal, wood, PETG, ABS+, and many more. No additional adhesives, glues, or tapes are required. PEI stands out with its "Easy 3D Printing" application, making your work comfortable and reliable. Furthermore, 3D printing on PEI does not require support structures, as the parts adhere directly to the surface without issues.

Product data for the PEI Ultem surface coating: PEI Ultem (Polyetherimide) 3D printing surface – less warping and more adhesion. Perfect for ABS and PLA-based filaments and others. No additional adhesives or glues required. Use for better adhesion and minimal deformation. PEI can be easily trimmed to size with a hobby knife. Once you have laminated your PEI film onto your glass, simply realign your 3D print bed and start additive manufacturing immediately. Your components should detach from the surface easily and almost without problems after 3D printing. Generally, PLA does not require a heated build platform; however, a heated print bed – at least 45 °C – optimizes your 3D printing results. After the process is complete, simply allow the platform to cool down. You can then gently "pop" your model off the plate.

Before each 3D print, wipe your PEI surface with 70-91% isopropyl alcohol. This ensures that you remove grease or other residues that may have accumulated on the surface. This will significantly enhance your surface adhesion. Tip: Use acetone.
