The compact speaker is recommended for small to medium-sized rooms. The 2-way system, consisting of a 125 mm mid-bass driver and a 22 mm tweeter, sounds best when placed on a shelf (integrated rubber feet), on the wall, or on a stand. Suitable mounting brackets and stands are available as accessories.

Thanks to the Q Acoustics P2P (Point to Point) bracing, the cabinets of the Q 3020i produce significantly less vibration and thus noise compared to their predecessors. Sophisticated measurement techniques precisely determine the positions where the cabinets need to be reinforced. The result is an exceptionally well-defined soundstage. Brand new mid-bass drivers and a tweeter mechanically decoupled from the rest of the cabinet ensure that all types of music and film soundtracks are reproduced dynamically, harmoniously, and in detail.

The speakers in the 3000i series are available in four cabinet finishes: graphite grey, English walnut, carbon black, or Arctic white. All models feature an attractive chrome ring around each chassis and magnetically attached front grilles, allowing them to integrate perfectly into any living space. Instead of a connection terminal built into the back of the speakers, the Q 3020i has a new, particularly flat surface-mounted connection panel that ensures significantly improved cabinet stability while still being suitable for 4 mm banana plugs.
