As a gaming keyboard absolutely, as an office keyboard as well, as a custom keyboard fan mostly ;) Definitely a very good keyboard, but not a real custom keyboard. Very comfortable typing, good sound, good quality.
I replaced the DE keys with CH keys from another Asus keyboard. Not quite the same height and quality, but not really noticeable. It's "only" the number row and a few special characters.
However, I can really recommend the Azoth X, which takes it up another 2 notches! Unfortunately I don't have the Extreme, the price is just too much...
As far as I understand it correctly, you can replace all switches and keys, but since a full-fledged shift key is larger than intended, I don't think it will fit.
The dongles are usually uniquely programmed for the corresponding keyboard and cannot simply be replaced - however, Asus support may be able to help in these cases.
I am not aware of this problem. However, I have noticed that I sometimes go to the right (D button) although I don't think I have pressed it. But I have to find out whether I subconsciously hit the button easily or whether it is effectively a mistake....
Yes, they are the NX Snow Switches, but they are not clicky, they are also linear. More like soft, red switches. Very pleasant feeling when typing (in addition to the fantastic sound)
qwertz, but DE layout. CH layout will not be available according to Asus. I put it together myself by taking the corresponding keys from another Asus keyboard (special characters and number row). It's similar, but of course not quite the same, especially as the Azoth uses flatter key caps.
The image has been changed to DE QWERTZ but the description remains QWERTY. I advise you to contact customer service. There are still several keyboard layouts on this model! Can you have a look?
The price is determined by the purchasing conditions set by the supplier and as we work with daily prices, these can fluctuate. We therefore cannot say in advance whether a price will go up or down.
Depending on your chosen keyboard layout they are on the same button as ever but not labeled correctly due to the keyboard layout being DE.
Find a picture here of the CH Layout where you can search for the „missing“ buttons:

Not at all, I checked with Asus, CH will not be available. I bought another high-quality Asus keyboard second-hand and replaced the keys I needed. It's not optimal, but it works :)
Hello Tacheles,
there is a slider on the back of the keyboard which has three modes:
- 2.4 GHz wireless
- cable
- Bluetooth
If you leave this on the middle setting, Bluetooth is switched off.
