Unfortunately I don't remember the original rev, but I was able to successfully upgrade the board to Rev P5.00.
This is no problem because the enclosure supports mainboards up to ATX and the mainboard is mATX.

Hello, It is the BIOS version that is decisive, the motherboard will be compatible with the processors mentioned as long as the BIOS is updated to version P5.00 or later. This applies regardless of the Revision. Yes, the 2280 Aorus fits, but if you mean this one Gigabyte Aorus NVMe Gen4 (500GB, M.2 2280) I wouldn't recommend it. It's expensive because it's PCIe 4.0 and the board only supports PCIe 3.0, so the speed is useless. Apart from that, NVMe is generally useless for normal use or gaming.
