Not a question, but rather an observation. According to Benq, there is no LED in it, but a UHP lamp. It only has an operating time of 15,000 hours in eco mode. In normal operation, it stops after 4,000 hours. It's just a classic lamp. This is not a bad beamer; quite the opposite. But if you are specifically looking for a 4k LED beamer, Digitec is leading you up the garden path. At such a low price, a beamer with 4k LED, and one from Benq, would be more than just a bargain. Please correct that.

Can this projector transmit the sound wirelessly to a soundbar? Blootooth or wifi?

The projector cannot transmit the sound wirelessly to a soundbar, neither via Bluetooth nor via WLAN. Instead, we recommend connecting the soundbar directly to the playback device or connecting the projector to an audio system via ARC/eARC to achieve better audio quality and avoid latency problems.

How do the projectors TK700 vs TK700sti compare, more precisely I am interested in the zoom function of the lens to adjust the image size, the former has the data 1.13-1.46:1 and the sti version 0.9-1.08:1? Does that mean the sti has a smaller image at the same distance from the screen? Thanks for the help!

Exactly, sti is the "short throw" variant. This means that the projector has to be less far away, so the image is bigger at the same distance with the sti. There are projector distance calculators on the internet where you can enter these numbers.

Hello the beamer has no S/PDIF optical connection if i use a hdmi receiver to use the S/PDIF i.e. the sound system will 4k streaming still work because of HDCP-2.2 would be very grateful for an answer hope you understand the question

I use an HDMI switch, which also separates audio (optical or PDIF). 4K streaming video still works afterwards.

Hello Community, For gaming and streaming, would you prefer the BenQ TK700STi or BenQ X1300i? I currently have a Samsung QLED 4K QE75F7 and have not been able to get a live picture of the beamers anywhere. Best thanks :-)

Hi Jan, we have the TK700STi and are very satisfied with it. However, we haven't used it with 4K yet. We are still waiting for the PS5. The brightness is very good in the evening, but we have to darken it a bit during the day. We use it every day. Gaming and films are fun! 🙂 With BenQ, the universal ceiling mount is also practical. Before, our old beamer was on the table. We can't say anything about the other beamer. Hope this helps you a bit. Best regards!

Is it limited to 120" or can it also do 150"? Unfortunately, BenQ's website doesn't specifically mention this TYPE either, and you only read that it can even do 120" at short distances.

The diagonal can be varied from 60" to 300", depending on the distance to the screen/wall. You can display this very easily at https://projectorcalculator.benq.com/.

I want to buy a beamer in the near future that is good for gaming and this BenQ TK700STi and the XGIMI Horizon Pro come into question - the great thing is that both are available from you :-) But the question is, can you also supply the lamps for these beamers and what would they cost? I can't find anything but after 4000 - 15'000 or 30'000 (XGIMI) hours you would have to change them. Not that I would have to throw them away after use. The other beamers seem to be less suitable for gaming.
