Yes, that basically works. The product has an impedance of 48 ohms. This means it can also be used without a separate amplifier on devices such as MacBook, PS5 controller, iPhone (with adapter) or Switch. According to research, however, you will not achieve the full sound potential.

Helpful answer

Yes, the Beyerdynamic DT 900 PRO X typically includes a 3m straight cable with mini XLR and 3.5mm stereo plug with a 6.35mm adapter, a 1.8m straight cable with similar connectors, and a carrying case, as described by Thomann Music. This aligns with the standard accessories provided for these headphones.

Difference to the 990pro?

The sound is more balanced and clearer, the 990 has much more treble, but the sound is a bit better. It is even more comfortable than the 990 and has higher quality cable connections that do not break as quickly. The 900 is clearly a class above the 990 and it doesn't make much sense to compare them. It is more comparable with the 880.

Both models have their strengths and weaknesses, but I would prefer the Beyerdynamic in terms of workmanship. In terms of sound, the Beyerdynamic also has slightly sharper trebles and a somewhat stronger bass, but the Sennheiser are somewhat more present in the mid-range.
