Hello BjörnK583 The information is a bit sparse to be able to give a good tip. What about colour copies or printouts from the machine itself (via menu - printer - print options - test print)? Or asked differently, what has changed if it worked before? Greetings

That's how it is, the customer has to pay the postage, there is also the possibility to buy onsite support for some devices, then a technician would come by and look at the printer. However, this is not offered for this printer. Bring it to the Digitec store or send it in, unfortunately that's the way it is. However, when I look at how little the warranty extension to 5 years costs, I would buy it as well. And be sure to keep the original packaging material, because this also protects a device optimally when it is brought in.

Hello Nordoen.pema The main difference is that the DCP-L3510CDW does not have a document feeder (ADF), which means that the originals/documents for copying or scanning have to be placed individually on the scanner glass. The DCP-L3550CDW has an ADF that can hold approximately 30 documents for copying/scanning. Both have the standard toners BK+Y+M+C, TN243x for approx. 1,000 pages. Greetings

Hello Dari21 Since the question is not 100% clear, I will give 2 answers: (1) In the printer driver on the PC and on the device (e.g. copy function), I can select whether I want to print in colour or B/W (monochrome/mono). The default setting in the printer driver of the PC is "Auto" = the driver/device selects whether the colour toners (CMY) are used or not based on the document content. This is to save (colour) toner. If you manually select "monochrome" (=only BK toner is used) to print/copy only B/W, you can still print even though one or more colour toners are used up. However, the used colour toners must still be/remain in use, otherwise b/w printing will not work. (2) You can still scan with the machine even if one (e.g. magenta) or all toners are displayed as "Replace toner" = used up. Again, all toners must still be in the machine. Greetings

Helpful answer

Hello Makani The printer can definitely do this. This can be set in the Windows printer driver, called "brochure". Unfortunately, I cannot say whether the Mac driver also supports this. Description for Windows see here: https://support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=ch&lang=de&prod=dcpl3510cdw_eu_as&ftype3=1978&faqid=faq00000134_008 Greetings
