I ordered a Corsair RM1000e power supply from Galaxus after asking customer service for confirmation that it was an ATX 3.1 / PCIe 5.1 model. Answer: yes, this is the model. When I received it, I was in for a nasty surprise: The product was used, which was not indicated anywhere. Delivered without the original box, instructions or accessories. In reality, it's an ATX 3.0 (without the new sockets), probably PCIe 5.0, impossible to check without packaging. To sum up: the product doesn't match the description on the site, nor the confirmations given by their advisers. I feel cheated and I'm waiting to see how Galaxus will deal with this error.

The product I received was reconditioned. This was not specified on the product sheet, so I thought it was new. How can this be? Where can I find the information?

What is the difference between the Corsair RM1000e power supply for 119 francs and the one for 161 francs? Surely the product for 119 is also new and hasn't been used? Can you explain that?

I regret this purchase. Coil Whine is really nerve-wracking. Does anyone know the best way to replace it without writing off the 150? I don't think sending it in and "fixing" it or replacing it with the same product will really help. I want to change the product altogether, otherwise I see no hope of escaping the coil whine.

Does anyone know if the revision already comes with 12VHPWR cable?

I bought the power supply and installed it but the fan doesn't start - is that normal??? Have I done something wrong???
