Yes the dock comes with its own power supply.
Yes you can split the connector into two individual connectors, that are attached together with the aid of magnets. For my case when I am connecting an HP ZBook 15 G4, I am using both connectors attached (round: power supply - needs more than 100W, Thunderbolt 3: data). But when I am connecting a Lenovo X1 Carbon (5th gen), I am separating the two connector and I am using only the Thunderbolt (power & data).
I have now ordered 4 pieces in your account. Unfortunately, we don't always see which plugs are included with all products. Please feel free to inform customer service in the future.https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new
Hello. Unfortunately, I don't have a MacBook and have never had more than 2 screens. Therefore I cannot give any information. What I can say is this: What is important is whether the MacBook Pro supports 3 screens or whether the operating system and/or drivers are designed for this. The fact that a graphics card supports x-screens does not mean that it can be configured that way. There are devices that allow max. 2 screens at the same time, although more would be possible. This means that if you connect more than 2 screens, only one clone is made. As I said, I cannot answer whether this is also the case with the Mac or whether it is just a configuration problem. Kind regards
Hi, you have to unscrew a cover plate at the bottom of the docking station, then you can unplug the cable or plug in another cable.
The combo cable only works with HP's Zbooks. The power connector is magnetically attached to the Thunderbolt connector. The Zbooks obtain the required power via the power connector. Thinderbold provides a maximum of about 65W of power.
Yes it has the combo and yes it`s the same article.
