Can the trackball also be used permanently on the cable? I'm not a fan of wireless peripherals and trackballs like my old Trackman Marble from Logitech are only available wirelessly. Is the USB-C port only for charging? Does the trackball work during charging?

The cable is only for charging, the trackball also works during charging. However, the battery lasts a very long time.

Standby mode. The mouse pointer on the screen always switches to sleep mode after approx. 15-20 seconds without being moved. This is tedious, you have to click again and again. How can I correct this?

Work faster 😉 Sounds like Windows and power saving to me, maybe you have to switch off in the power settings that Bluetooth devices may be deactivated?

Hello, I can't get this thing to work with USB. BlueTooth works on another PC, but on the one where I actually want to use it, I only have USB. With USB, the receiver is recognised, but nothing moves except that it tries to install the software. Is there anything else that needs to be switched? The "documentation" is a bit poor. Thank you.

Unfortunately, this trackball loses the ability to maintain the left click after about 2 to 3 years, which makes click-and-drag operations risky... the problem appears slightly at first and gradually worsens... in our company the problem is renewing over 6 copies bought at different dates and via different suppliers and several youtube videos show how to fix the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cihhU4g74c but it's not my cup of tea... shame apart from that it's an excellent product but I wouldn't buy any more at that price.

This instability can be avoided by occasionally cleaning the ball and the housing in which the ball is embedded. See also the manufacturer's operating instructions.
