The MX Master 4 (wireless) is charged via USB-C and is not compatible with a charging pad. The mouse has an integrated battery that can only be charged by connecting a USB-C cable directly to the USB-C port on the front of the mouse. Wireless charging via a charging pad is not possible.

The main mouse wheel of the Logitech MX Master 4 cannot be tilted to the left or right. However, horizontal scrolling and lateral functions are possible via the separate thumbwheel. In addition, the Logitech software Logi Options+ can be used to customise the buttons and thumbwheel, for example for copying, pasting or other shortcuts.

I was able to do some research and the Business variant is currently no longer on sale. Unfortunately, I can't say at the moment when and if it will be on sale again. Below is the link to the business version, whereby the product can be added to the watch list and if an offer should be active, a notification will follow. According to the scope of delivery, both are equipped with the same receiver and have the same specifications. At Logitech, "for business" generally refers to the software, which differs from that of private users, the warranty services or packaging and price. Logitech Mx Master 4 For Business (Wireless)

According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications, the Mac version has the same hardware and mouse features as the Windows version, but the software is customised for Mac. In addition, Logitech usually has different mouse colours for Mac and comes without a USB dongle, as is the case here.

The difference between the "normal" version and the "for Mac" version of Logitech devices such as MX Master and MX Keys / MX Keys S is usually relatively minimal, often primarily cosmetic and in terms of supplied components or key assignment, not in the hardware functionality itself.

Helpful answer
The Logitech MX Master 4 has a button on the left-hand side (in the thumb area) that can be individually programmed using Logi Options+ software (e.g. to control shortcuts, macros, actions, etc.). However, this button is not primarily intended for switching directly between devices (e.g. source 1 / 2 / 3), as is possible with some "triathlon" mice. In reviews, it is usually described as an "actions ring / menu button" or "thumb haptic button", which is used to open an overlay for functions.
