Microsoft Surface Pen
Thank you very much for the report. We are aware of the error and are already working on it.
Yes, works fine, just bought Surface Pro 6 and stylus last week.
Yes - it is included. Lasts between 1 and 1.5 years for me (I use the pen rather frequently). Experience based on 2 models (Pro 3 and Pro 4).
I had a Surface Pro, and was able to connect this stylus to my new laptop (an Asus model, nothing to see here). I think the stylus is simply compatible with Windows (and not a laptop model).
Rather no. In any case, it does not work with my X13 Yoga!
The tip is soft so it doesn't scratch the screen but not as hard as a plastic pen. It is very comfortable to write with.
Yes, the Surface Pen is also compatible with the Surface Book 2.
Hi KaueL, in theory, the various pens I've always had for my Microsoft Surface tablets all worked very well on my Asus Zenbook, but I just can't confirm 100% that this is the case for this one in particular, but in theory it should work! Well, I asked ChatGPT, and his answer seems more complete than mine, so here it is: *********** Styli for Microsoft Surface tablets use the Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) and can work with other devices that support this protocol, not just Surface【7†source】【8†source】 devices. According to the ASUS website, several Zenbook models support the MPP protocol. Therefore, Surface styli could work with these specific models. Here are some of the Zenbook models that support MPP: - UX363JA - UX363EA - UX564EI - UX564EH - UX482EA - UX482EG - UX582LU - UX582LV - UX582HM - UX582HS - UX482EAR - UX482EGR - GV301QH/QE/QC/QHZ/QEZ/QCZ - UX5400RB - UX5400RA - UX564PH - UX582ZS - B3302FEA - TP1400KA - TP1401KA - T3300KA - BR1100FKA - B3402FEA - B5402FEA【22 source】. However, other models, such as the Zenbook Flip UX360CA and ZenBook Flip UX560UQ, are not listed as MPP【16 source】 compatible. Please note that this list may not be exhaustive and it is best to check compatibility on the manufacturer's website for your specific Zenbook model.
yes, that works.
It works with a battery (1 AAAA alkaline battery).
Hello Vaio, yes this is the right pen. Greetings
Yes. It works. It's only a bit odd for storage / travel, because there is no "magnetic - holder" like with the Surfacebook for instance.
Have a look at werktag.de. They have very nice felt and leather cases for all surface devices and everything fits in them.
Hello.Yes
Yes, it is the "right" pen. You can actually use all Microsoft pens, but with this one you can make use of the practical magnetic holder on the side edge of the display.
Need all 3 input options: 1) mouse, 2) finger, 3) pen. The screen is very sensitive for 2 & 3 - so no pressure needed. I never need 3 for drawing and my pen tip is still fully functional after 2 years.
No, unfortunately not. For HP you have to take an HP Stylus Pen.
https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/4519767/identify-your-surface-pen-and-features (At the beginning of the text a reference to : Using the Surface Pen ) describes all variants. I have a SURFACE PEN WITHOUT CLIP. LG - André
Yes, it works. All functionalities are supported.
Both have tilt sensitivity, the pen is a little heavier and octagonally shaped, the slim pen is flattened and a little more bulky; the extra 50,- you probably pay for the charger of the slim pen, while with the pen you have to replace an AAAA battery about once a year - that makes about 14 years until the costs are amortised...
According to our information, this is the 4th generation.
You can simply pull the grey part with the button (rear part) straight out. Then you have to insert a new battery and you have full power again.
