As long as your PC/laptop has Bluetooth, you can connect directly via Bluetooth without an adapter. It worked for me without any problems (I have Windows 10 on my PC).

As you can see on the Digitec website, this model is sold with or without a cable. It's a USB-C cable, but a very long one. A simple USB-C cable should suffice for updating....
