I was interested myself. How do I export the annotations from a book / PDF? In the book, go to the table of contents (TOC), switch to annotations. There you can export the annotations to the internal note directory.

Yes, it is a USB-C one. I don't follow the latest and greatest in technology and gadgets, but USB-C is highly performant (faster and more reliable than, say, Apple's lightening), as well as the standard imposed for cell phones by the EU. So, I don't believe USB-C is outdated.
