I've had this type of device for several years (even 2). Personally, I've never had this type of problem, but apparently several people have. Here's what I've found for you: First press the on/off button for 10 seconds. Then remove the battery and memory card from the camera. Sometimes you have to wait a little over 15 minutes before you can reattach it. Then reattach the battery and start the camera without the memory card, and check. Also try resetting all the default settings. If this doesn't work, then it's probably a more serious fault that needs to be repaired by the after-sales service. I mainly take photos. So far, I have never needed the extra battery. In the future, however, I will make more videos, and it will certainly come in handy. I saved up and ordered two batteries with a charger directly from the Far East. Cheap but at your own risk!
