i simply played my videos from my iphone via airplay, if both devices are in the same wifi, it works without any problems
The same questions are asked here time and time again. My answer once and for all: the product is simply unusable. You will spend hours trying to get it to work, it will never work. This product should never have been put on the market. So I strongly advise against buying it.

All is not lost. Either buy a second remote or download a universal projector remote control app. I can try it out tonight if you like.
