See the manufacturer's website: How can I tell whether I have the previous or current generation of the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro? The quickest way to recognise this is by the charging port, as the new Razer BlackShark V2 Pro uses USB-C, whereas the previous generation still used micro USB. The model here still has Micro-USB

Under Windows, regardless of whether it's 10 or 11, it works for me without a problem. Plug it in, switch it on and go. It's hard to say from a distance why it doesn't work for you.
I would test the USB adapter on another PC/laptop. If it does not work there either, it may be defective.

UPDATE: Razer support confirmed that it's not the expected behavior and the device is faulty.
