Have you tried updating the software. It might help

We also have the sofa practically against the wall and the speakers placed sideways and slightly turned inwards on the same wall next to the sofa - not perfect but a better sound experience than without the speakers
B=Model 2022 C=Model 2023 It's the same, that's why I bought the cheaper 2022 model. Q-Symphonie only works with newer Samsung TVs. Sounds good and powerful in any case.
I am shown the HW-Q990B at digitec.
Dolby Atmos is displayed if the source is in DA, e.g. Netflix or apple.Tv. and settings download on a USB key tests on the net eg Dolby.com Best regards
Hello no nothing locally. There's Bluetooth, so a phone or PC will do. And if the music is on a local disk, a PC or a Smart TV, that works too.
I think they are identical in construction / function, possibly the power plug is different, no one at Samsung was able to explain to me conclusively why they assigned their own model number about 1 year ago.
Hi, I had a quick look at mine, they look exactly like the one from your link. It should work, I think.
The rear speakers: For my part, the wall bracket is made of a beautiful wooden board painted white and two brackets, a little stylish because there is not really a suitable aesthetic bracket in the market or at Samsung. For the sound bar the bracket is supplied with it. Greetings Patrice
No, unfortunately not
mW only works with Alexa - addressing even in idle mode works well see
Hello, I connect the soundbar to the TV via HDMI cable, and the TV receives the data from Sunrise or Chromecast (youtube, spotify,...). Works perfectly, the soundbar doesn't care where the TV gets the data from. What also works well is to pair the soundbar with the mobile phone via Bluetooth. The soundbar itself does not have a tuner for direct streaming.
No, that is not possible.
https://vebos.eu/vebos-standfuss-samsung-hw-q990b-ein-paar.html C'est tiptop :-)
In principle, it should be possible to control the device by voice via Samsung's SmartThings app, see here: https://www.samsung.com/ch/apps/smartthings/#search/ The HW-Q990B is listed among the compatible devices. You can probably only control the soundbar directly with voice commands using Alexa: https://www.samsung.com/ch/support/apps-services/steuere-deinen-fernseher-oder-deine-soundbar-indem-du-google-home-bixby-oder-alexa-anschliesst/#:~:text=Enter%20your%20Samsung%2DAlogin%20data,with%20the%20Google%20Assistant%20control.
Which features, for example, should not work? As long as the apps on your TV operating system (Netflix, for example) can output Dolby Atmos, the soundbar can of course reproduce it. This all depends on your playback devices, not on the soundbar.
I can recommend these universal wall mounts from Goobay: Goobay Universal (1 pair, wall mounting, tiltable, horizontal swivel, vertical swivel) You can mount them on the ceiling, but it wouldn't be optimal acoustically, so as you say, it would be best to mount them at about head height.
It can be done, but it is definitely not advisable in terms of sound. Otherwise your surround sound will also come from above. That makes no sense.
According to Samsung Switzerland homepage, specifications: Soundbar (W x H x D) 1232.0 x 69.5 x 138.0 mm Net dimensions (surround speakers) (W x H x D) 129.5 x 201.3 x 140.4 mm Subwoofer (W x H x D) 220.0 x 413.0 x 410.0 mm
According to the brand's website, the fixing system is supplied with the product.
Just saw the exact model name - this is a HW-Q990B/EN, and the EN models don't have Google Assistant / Chromecast support. The units that are sold in France (HW-Q990B/ZF) do have these features.
Unfortunately, we have no influence on the prices. Due to various factors, our price can unfortunately be higher than those of other providers. However, due to our daily prices, a price can be adjusted very quickly.
