According to our system, the price for this Samsung model on 17 May 2025 was never less than CHF 1999. Could it have been a tested return or a similar model?
According to the Samsung website, this model has both features; see here: https://www.samsung.com/de/lifestyle-tvs/the-frame/ls03d-55-inch-black-gq55ls03dauxzg
As far as I know, this mainly concerns the streaming buttons on the remote control and the factory-installed apps. Power connection is not a problem as it is two-pin. If there are any other differences, I haven't noticed them and they don't affect my use of the TV.
Well, I wouldn't say that the frame is more unstable than other TVs in this size/class. BUT - normally you buy a frame because you want to mount it directly on the wall for visual reasons so that it really looks like a picture on the wall and has no distance or space between it and the wall. If this is not your main focus when choosing a frame, I would advise you to buy a different model range - in terms of price and otherwise.
No, this TV does have a transmission option via WLAN. Here are the steps to connect the TV to a WLAN network:
- Press the Smart Hub or Home button on the Smart Remote and navigate to Settings and then to All Settings.
- Select Connection and then Network.
- Open Network settings and select Wireless.
- Select the name of your Wi-Fi network, enter the password and confirm with Open.
Yes, the screen of Samsung's "The Frame QE75LS03D" has a matte display technology that absorbs reflections. This matte display technology minimises light reflections so you can see what's on the screen clearly without being distracted by glare or reflections.
According to my research, the difference lies in the market for which they are intended. The LS03D is intended for the Swiss market and is also supplied with a Swiss power plug. The LS03 is an import model, which may be shipped with an EU plug.
We only advertise the manufacturer's promotions, if you have any questions about the terms and conditions of participation, please contact Samsung directly.🫡
Good evening.
So I bought 3 The Frame from Samsung this year. Simply in different sizes. All the frames are mounted on the wall and I put the connect box in the sideboard behind the closed door. The cable is practically invisible.
According to our information, the following items are included in the scope of delivery:
1x Samsung TV QE50LS03DUXXN
1x BT SolarCell Remote
1x One Connect (Y22 4K)
1x power cable
1x instruction manual
Hello stefwagi
I have the latest version 2024! (The information on this is rather sparse)
A transparent, rather thin cable, the One Connect cable, runs from the TV to the One Connect. It is about 2 - 4 metres long and probably a fibre optic cable.
We have the box in a sideboard under the TV. All the other cables lead away from there,
I don't know if I've answered your question correctly?
Unfortunately, the supplier was unable to help us, and an internet search did not provide a clear solution.
In such cases, we recommend asking the manufacturer directly, as this will usually provide you with information that is not usually contained in the data sheet.
The product is equipped with a German plug as standard and is not eligible for Samsung Switzerland promotions. Some regional apps may not be available.
Technically, however, the devices are identical.
The more expensive one is the version for Switzerland. EU versions are generally more readily available and cheaper to buy, so the retail price is also lower.
The decorative frame can be ordered free of charge via the Samsung website after registering the TV.
https://www.samsung.com/at/offer/tv/frame-dekorahmen/
So technically, both devices are identical, there are no differences.
However, the Swiss Editions can take part in Samsung Switzerland promotions if one is active, e.g. cashback, free accessories, etc. This would not be possible with the German version. This would not be possible with a German version.
The products also differ in terms of the pre-installed apps. But you can download the apps from the store on both devices.
This means that you would have no disadvantages in terms of quality, technology, etc. with the cheaper model.
The compatibility of the Samsung The Frame GQ55LS03DAU with the Sunrise TV Box depends on the technical specifications of the box. The TV has four HDMI ports, which means that it is basically compatible with most set-top boxes as long as they use HDMI. If the Sunrise TV Box supports HDMI, it should work. However, for specific functions such as Swiss streaming services, it might be necessary to use the more expensive model if there are special requirements or additional functions that are not included in the cheaper model. It is advisable to check the technical details of the Sunrise TV Box or check directly with the supplier to ensure that all desired functions are supported.
Hello everyone. According to the Samsung website, there is a special offer for this model until 08.12.2024:
'2.24. / 75" 2024 The Frame, QLED 4K TV Bundle discount promotion
When purchasing the following 75" The Frame 4K, 2024 TV model, participants will receive a discount of CHF 1000 (28%) on the regular purchase price and a removable frame of their choice worth CHF 149 free of charge. The interchangeable frame must be added to the cart independently.
But here I only see the frame. How do I get the 1000 discount?
Thank you
Will the Samsung The Frame all have a "one connect" from 2023?
According to information from Samsung - to be found under FAQ installation on the Samsung website - only a [15m long?] (fibre optic?) cable would be required to mount the rotatable wallmount. Which would prevent the cables from getting tangled. The "one connect" box would then no longer have to be mounted behind the TV and could be positioned in a sideboard, for example, where all other connections would then be possible. But I can't find any information on whether this is included with The Frame TVs or not.
