The Sony UBP-X700 Blu-ray player supports various streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and Spotify. However, the Disney+ app is not available for Blu-ray disc players. Amazon Prime Video is not explicitly mentioned in the information provided, but it is possible that it is present as one of the available streaming apps on the device, as many Sony devices support Amazon Prime Video. Apps cannot be installed or removed; only the pre-installed apps can be used.

It already works. However, this is a 4k UHD Blue-Ray player which only makes sense with a corresponding 4k UHD/HDR TV and if you also want to watch 4k HDR Blue-Ray discs. For normal Blue-Ray and a Full-HD 3D TV, I would recommend the Sony BDP-S3700 or BDP-S6700.

Hello, I also have a Yamaha with optical and coaxial inputs. Unfortunately, the player does not have an optical output, so the only option is dig.coax. So it works for me. The prerequisite is of course that the DVD offers Dolby or DTS, then the system recognises it automatically if it is set up that way.

Unfortunately, no - at least not until now (and not with me). But you should be able to mirror the screen via the Miracast function. However, I have no idea how much quality loss this means... But my recommendation clearly goes in the direction of Apple TV 4K, Amazon Fire Stock (4K), or Chromecast (new 4K variant). It's worth it for Disney, as the streaming quality in terms of picture and sound is sensational.

The audio output of this unit is only via HDMI and coax. So you connect the player either via HDMI or coax to a TV or receiver and then from there to the desired output devices. I have connected mine via HDMI to the TV (Sony) and a Sonos Playbar is connected to it via an optical cable. Headphones (Bose QC 35) via Bluetooth from the TV also work. So connecting directly is not possible. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4698/7d50d915295c2a5698da607b669348d1/46984072M.pdf

This Sony UBP-X700 Blu-ray player is great and meets all expectations. We use it with an Ultra HD 4K OLED TV and it works perfectly. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the playable formats, but in any case, the device also transmits the "Dolby Digital" audio format (according to the description).

Hello Just to be sure - you go from the UBP-X700 directly to a beamer? Or is there a receiver in between? You don't see a start screen either? 10m should be easily doable with a reasonably good cable. But whether 4K material will then also go through could be close. However, you should be able to get to the start screen of the player. Try plugging in a slightly shorter cable (just for testing purposes). If this works, it is possible that the 10m cable has a defect. So please also connect the 10m cable to another source. I personally use a 15m HDMI (optical) slimrun AV cable HDR for HDMI capable devices, 4 K @ 60Hz, yuv4: 4: 4, silver/black. Unfortunately from another shop. If you can't find the error, please write in more detail about the set-up and the tested steps... Best wishes and good luck, highfish
