Toshiba includes a 5-year warranty for the Enterprise Capacity Hard Drive - MG Series. Shouldn't this product have it included? (30.03.2022: on this website it' s indicated 2 years, for 5 years you have to pay extra)

Is this drive compatible with the Synology DS920+. And is it suitable for a NAS for use with PLEX?

Somehow I don't understand why Galaxus sells a new hard drive with only a two-year warranty although the manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty for the MG09 series. Should you now buy a warranty extension? Even the invoice explicitly states a warranty of only 2 years and there is no serial number on the invoice. Actually a cheek!

Toshiba actually gives a 5-year warranty on the MG series. A 2-year warranty is stated here and there is no further mention of the warranty period. As always, a warranty extension to 5 years is offered in the cart. However, Toshiba already provides this warranty period of its own accord. This is very confusing. This is transparent with other suppliers. Unfortunately not here. The costs are slightly lower here, but this is only due to the free shipping. An answer would make my purchase from Galaxus easier. Otherwise I'll just have to use the other supplier. That's worth €2 or €3 to me.

Something is wrong with the vendor list; Techmania has the plate for 269.- and not for 309.- as listed here (https://www.techmania.ch/de/product/-28709261).

Is this disk also suitable for use in a NAS? E.g. Synology?
