Ubiquiti UVC-G4-Pro

I tried this once with another Unifi cam and failed miserably, unstable etc.... If the camera can output RTSP streams, then it should tend to work, but no guarantee that it will work permanently and stably...
Hi You need a ubiquiti USG or UDM or UDM Pro (digitec has them). Those items are the “controllers” and what you purchase are just the camera. It’s probably not what your looking for if your not a tech guy though. You may want to rerun and look for a simpler solution? Hope it helps
Hello, Yes there are 2 possibilities. 1. you activate the cloud access on your UDMP and then go to your UDMP via unifi.ui.com. https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012240067-UniFi-How-to-Enable-Remote-Access-for-Remote-Management 2. you connect via VPN to the network where the camera is located. There are many methods. The VPN of the UDMP or my recommendation "Wireguard". The easiest is cloud access, regardless of the security aspect.
Most importantly, you need either Unifi Dream Machine Pro Router or Unifi Protect Network Video Recorder + Cloud Key Gen 2 Plus. Operation and setup either via unifi web platform or app. All super easy to set up and really good by the way. I use the cams with UDM Pro.
The camera can be integrated licence-free.
I would recommend Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Key Plus Gen 2 runs smoothly. set up in max. 5min.
You can use one of these PoE injectors. Value Gigabit 802.3at, 30W (PoE Injector) Ubiquiti Instant IEEE 802.3af GE Adapter (PoE Injector) Another 802.3af or 802.3at model would also work. :-) If you don't have one yet, you just need an RJ45 cable.
Unfortunately, we currently have no information about when the item will be available again and when we will be able to deliver it. The supplier himself is still waiting for a subsequent delivery from the manufacturer and for this reason he had to set the delivery date to unknown. As soon as something changes in this regard, we will post it here. Sorry.
Yes, the camera works with the Passive POE. :)
