Hey Patrick0206 You can buy the power supply from the manufacturer: https://www.ultimateears.com/de-ch/wireless-speakers/hyperboom.html But I saw that it is sold out even at the manufacturer. I would therefore contact the manufacturer directly: https://support.ultimateears.com/en/email-support/ I hope I was able to help you. Greetings M0ses

Unfortunately, we do not have the right charging cable in our range. The best thing to do is to contact UE directly: https://www.ultimateears.com/de-ch/my-account.html However, the question remains in the Community, perhaps another member has a suitable alternative.

The Ultimate Ears Hyperboom is a portable Bluetooth speaker, but it is not specifically designed to be used lying down. Here are some points to consider: - Size and weight: the speaker measures 364 mm in height, 190 mm in width and 190 mm in depth and weighs 5.9 kg. Its size and weight make it less practical to use in a lying position in a car. - Speaker arrangement: The Hyperboom has two 114 mm subwoofers, two 25 mm tweeters and two passive radiators. This arrangement is ideal for vertical operation to produce the best possible sound image. - Stability: Although the speaker is robust and IPX4 protected against splashing and impact water, it is not recommended to use it in a horizontal position as this could affect the acoustics and stability. To summarise, although it is technically possible to use the Hyperboom in a car, it is not the best configuration for optimal performance and stability. It would be advisable to use the speaker in its original, vertical position.

Actually no problem, plug it in and select the square for the optical input on the box and off you go. Stupid question, but have you removed the protective cap from the optical cable? Sometimes it's really hard to recognise if you don't know.

Mine also discharges by itself, but not as fast as yours: Last charged at the beginning of February and now at 60 or 70 % (I have two - sound great as a stereo pair, by the way). Try a hard reset (press ON and MINUS simultaneously for 6 seconds or so).

Unfortunately, I can't compare the two. But the Hyperboom has a really cool and crystal-clear boom. In a small office in the corner, you'll tear the place down. In larger rooms you can have a great party. I haven't tested it outdoors yet. But for my taste there is room for improvement. I actually expect more from the Teufel. But unfortunately I can't give you any feedback (yet).

If it is connected via Bluetooth and no music is played for 15 minutes or the like, it switches off automatically or goes into standby, but remains accessible via Bluetooth. I don't know what happens with the Wi-Fi.
