I didn't watch it, but I didn't pay attention either. Have you made sure that the "optimised charging" setting under "Battery status & charging process" is not responsible for this?

We have three of these things in use, next to the bed, when travelling, etc. So far they've always been problem-free - although they do get quite warm and I could imagine that this could sometimes be a problem. But there are few devices like this - either they have a wall plug, which becomes difficult when you're on holiday, or they have more power and are three-pin (and there are countries where three-pin sockets are in really short supply).

Yes, you can connect the Nexode Desktop (100 W) to a power strip or extension cable. It is a standard 100 W power supply with a Euro plug, which is designed for normal household use as long as the power strip can handle at least 100 W.

Yes, that's the plug in the photo (which doesn't have a ground because it's not necessary for this camera).

The Ugreen Nexode Desktop (200 W) is primarily a USB charger and is not designed as a data hub. It does not offer any data transfer functions, but is used exclusively for charging devices. The data lines are not connected to transfer data, but only to charge the devices.

Hello, Not at all. Not a single noise or background greyness. I was able to use almost all the sockets, the charger is a bit hot but nothing to worry about. Very good charger!

The 4.2A will only be needed when connected to a 100V socket, 240V will easily require half that. So even with a cable rated for 2.5A, the charger's needs are covered. According to the tests, it needs 330W to supply the 300W output, so we end up with less than 1.5A, which leaves a margin. It seems to me that the CH cable supplied with it is more than 0.75mm2, so if it's 1mm2 it's no problem.

"Normally" it needs a feeder. The graph on the manufacturer's website provides relatively good information on the watts applied depending on the assignment. https://de.ugreen.com/collection...

If the power cable is plugged into the unit, do not use an adapter, but replace the entire cable with one with a correct plug. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug.
