The Raspberry Pi 4B is the powerful evolution of the extremely successful credit card-sized computing system. Overview of the changes: The Raspberry Pi 4B has been part of the Raspberry Pi family since June 2019. The following improvements/changes have been made in the 4B: 1) The CPU remains the same but has been enhanced in performance. 2) Power is now supplied via USB-C instead of micro-USB. 3) A dual display output via two micro-HDMI ports allows for 4K video output on two monitors simultaneously. 4) The 4B now supports Bluetooth 5.0. 5) Upgrade to USB 3.0: There are now two USB 3.0 ports with a transfer rate of 5 GBit/s - no more bottleneck from USB connection. 6) Now with a Gigabit LAN interface (10x faster than Raspberry 3B). 7) Now manufactured in 28NM, down from 40NM.

Completely backward compatible with your previous projects, the Raspberry Pi 4B retains the same basic form and size, allowing you to easily integrate your new Raspberry Pi 4B into your old projects for an upgrade. And as always, all software has been kept backward compatible. Everything you create on a Raspberry Pi 4 will also be compatible with older models.
