    Promises more than it delivers

Because I was more than convinced by the predecessor, I definitely had to have the successor! Unfortunately, this tracker is not nearly as good as its predecessor. It is more cumbersome to use compared to its predecessor, the Charge 2. The wristband is rigid, uncomfortable and the clasp is bulky. The connection with the smartphone via Bluetooth does not always work. I had to restart the Charge 3 and then it works again. However, I expect a stable Bluetooth connection between two devices. The pedometer is very inaccurate and counts much more than you actually are. The pedometer is unreliable it is more of a motion counter. On the Charge 2 there was a watchface that showed the date, time, steps and pulse, this is no longer there. Although I always delete the messages on the tracker immediately before reading them on my phone, some remain. If you swipe down on the display, you are suddenly reminded of exactly these messages by the vibration, even if they are days old.

    Pro

    • several watch designs are available

    Contra

    • Bracelet insufficient
    • No colour display

    absolutely disappointing

No longer syncs with my Android smartphone after three weeks of use at the end of October following Fitbit update (old Fitbit 2 and Garmin Forerunner, on the other hand, sync without any problems) - Fitbit support was completely useless in this case. After three days of failed attempts and numerous emails with Fitbit support, I no longer use it and have absolutely no desire to do so - I was previously an enthusiastic Fitbit user for two years.

    • No vibration for daily destination and incoming calls
