    Fascinating, if expensive, foray into virtual reality

    With this equipment, the entry into virtual reality is thrilling. Picture quality and comfort are surprisingly good. Many games and some applications available via SteamVR and HTC VIVEPORT. Setting up the trackers can be a bit of a challenge, depending on the room, as they should be placed above head height and must face each other diagonally with a small angle of inclination.

    • Good guide to set up, great tutorial

    Contra

    • Controller battery does not last very long
    • Tracker installation not easy to realise in every room
    • Sound quality of the integrated headphones
    • Headset cable sometimes annoying
    • Modest benefit of the integrated cameras

    Perfect for beginners

    Pro

    • A starter kit to start immediately
    • Easy installation
    • Great peripherals, design
    • Balanced handling
    • After hours of wearing the mask is still very comfortable
    • Fast motion capture
    • Seems heavier than it is. Put on you hardly notice the weight
    • Next to oculus and valve my favorite. Am htc fan
    • Great resolution
    • Thick cable for optimal performance
    • One step in each direction with arms outstretched, so you can measure in advance if it fits
    • Digitec are the fastest suppliers :-)
    • The quick round in the evening works. Controller akku holds loosely 5Std

    Contra

    • Ok the price, but it is very worth it in retrospect
    • The controllers are not perfect, but with some tinkering, they can be carried very well
    • My room is ETWAS too small :-D
    • Thick cable that feels like a headcrab in HL Alyx :-D
    • Note,there are some updates and installations when setting up. Take enough time
    • I can not drink beer while wearing the mask hahaha sh*t

    Cutting Edge VR Experience

    Still the best VR experience.

    If you have any change left after this purchase you can't buy the wireless kit....
