I couldn't say no at the promotional price, even though it's actually a special lens. I consider it one of the best lenses for photographing the night sky. Unusually for a fisheye lens, you can talk about a bouquet, depending on where the focus is. Also unusual is the distortion, which is relatively low for a fisheye lens. Often de-fishing is not necessary. It is interesting that the original image (i.e. without post-processing) is not circular and has a black border. Post-processing, e.g. with Olympus Workspace, sometimes leads to such a strong forced straightening of the lines at the edge of the image that one then decides in favour of the original after all. Very important: When taking pictures, align the camera body as horizontally as possible, preferably with a spirit level on the tripod. Even a small inclination leads to an often unattractive distortion. If you take this into account, you can also use it instead of an ultra-wide angle.

My third fisheye lens. By far the best.

This is a fantastic lens, but a product that has very limited uses. Although the lens and quality are great, the price is relatively expensive for its use.
