NO DEAL - NEVER AGAIN - I fell for it again - 2x

The marketing bla is great. The product may or may not have been designed in Switzerland, but it is certainly produced in China and then marketed by Americans. Only so are the extremely loud promises to understand, which Digitec simply translated from the website.

The BIG reason for my annoyance? You get a simple charging cable here for 30. That the cable can simply NOT be used for data transfer I have not found anywhere. It annoys me when I buy such good cables and the only charge and that only half-batzig. 5W.

On the homepage (US-english only) you can see by the way that the FIrma reacted. The new incharge X is explicitly designated as a "Data&Charge-Cable". That's good. Also that you can charge with up to 100W is good. That it is only a good 10cm long is known.

The joke of it all? It costs exactly the same as the ONLY CHARGE cable - but in USD.
Depending on your residence and payment method, there is still up to 10% discount compared to the CHF price for the pure charging cable. A grotesque disproportion.

The company is cool, they use the high price island of Switzerland to sell the old charging cables at high prices.

And I fall then on this whole Maketing BLABLA purely. The most expensive CHARGE-ONLY cable ever.

    Pro

    • ingenious plug concept
    • valuable processing

    Contra

    • ATTENTION, no data transfer possible
    • Can ONLY charge
    • Slow charging with max 5W on USB C
    • Much more appearance than reality
    • Much more promise than deliver

    Poor quality USB-C connector

On the surface, the cable looks interesting. I bought two of them. In both cases, the USB-C connector bent very quickly, effortlessly just under the weight of the cable or the phone. The design is not strong enough. The hybrid micro-USB connector doesn't fit all devices. It helps, but it's not practical. In many devices, it doesn't fit well. I don't recommend this cable, nor any other cable in the same family.

    Pro

    • Solid cable
    • Convenient length

    Contra

    • USB-C connector that bends very easily
    • Hybrid micro-USB connector not very practical

Only slow loading - moderate quality

After some time in use, the movable part is already worn out and falls off. In the meantime, the USB C insert has fallen out completely. The charging speed is no longer up to date.

    Pro

    • Does not knot
    • Good concept with magnetic plug

    Contra

    • Slow charging even for iPhone
    • Movable part can fall off
    • USB C plug falls apart after prolonged use
    • The quality of the plugs is poor
