Product details

The SC4 is a high-quality shielded adapter for connecting a microphone with a 3.5 mm output to the TRRS jack of a smartphone or tablet. It is ideal for users who want to connect their RØDE VideoMic to their iPhone and record with the RØDE Rec app (iOS). The gold-plated contacts are color-coded: gray indicates the TRRS output. Although the SC4 was originally designed for an iPhone or iPad, it is also compatible with many Android-based devices. While stereo microphones can be connected to the SC4, the channels are combined into a mono signal for compatibility with the TRRS input.
