The new Auto-On/Off function automatically turns the microphone on and off with the camera, ensuring you never forget to switch on the mic before shooting and extending the operating time with automatic shutoff. The Videomic Pro+ also has an activatable Safety Mode that records two identical tracks at different levels. If an unexpectedly loud signal causes distortion during a recording, you can revert to the undistorted Safety track during post-production. Additionally, the sound quality of the Videomic has been enhanced with a presence boost to compensate for high-frequency loss when using a furry windscreen.
