RS Phase Change Interface Material. Product description: The phase change materials from RS are ideal for thermal management applications. In this range, RS phase change interface materials are available as sheets, thermal pads, and dispensable paste. Phase change materials work by changing their state when the temperature changes. During this process, the material stores thermal energy, which is then released when the material cools down. This means that the material can absorb thermal energy while heat is being generated, helping to keep the component cool.
