Product details
Using Adaptive Sound technology, the HW-Q70R sound bar can analyze content played on a viewer's TV and adjust to the ideal sound settings for a particular scene. In addition, the HW-Q70R automatically switches to Adaptive Sound mode when connected to a Samsung 2019 QLED with AI mode on.
"With Adaptive Sound, which understands the sound and optimizes it for each scene, listeners can enjoy even more realistic sound for each content genre," said Jongsuk Chu, executive vice president of visual display business at Samsung Electronics. "The new Q Series bars offer expertly revitalized sound quality and a design that provides an appealing home aesthetic to enhance our customers' home theater experience."
The HW-Q70R also features Samsung's proprietary acoustic beam technology. This technology uses a variety of holes in the speaker to create a more dynamic, panoramic sound landscape, filling every corner of the room with a wide sound landscape and full sound.
For smarter and easier integration into consumers' lives, the Q-Series bars feature a Bluetooth connection that allows users to enjoy high-quality music from their smartphones.
Additionally, the HW-Q70R sound bar is equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, providing immersive 360-degree surround sound technology, which was previously only available in high-end Samsung sound bar models. With the HW-Q70R, consumers can enjoy an immersive home entertainment experience with room-filling sound and overhead audio effects.
Combined with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies, the HW-Q70R has a slim 59mm (2.3-inch) form factor that allows it to work better with the QLED TV.
