This digital input module is part of the Modicon X80 series, which includes a range of common input/output and communication modules, power supplies, and module carriers for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This product consists of 16 input channels powered by 48 V DC (positive). It meets the TC treatment requirements (treatment for all climate zones) and can operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C. Modicon X80 modules provide a uniform environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures, reducing spare parts inventory as well as maintenance and training costs. It features an external fuse per group of channels rated at 0.5 A and reverse polarity protection with fast tripping. The product complies with protection class IP20 and offers a MTBF of 777,744 hours. This module is compatible with Modicon M340, M580 (local or remote I/O) PLCs with a 20-pin cage, screw terminal, or removable spring terminal block. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
