This counter module is part of the Modicon X80 series, a range of common I/O for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This high-speed counter module features 8 channels, 2 single-mode inputs, and 3 special dual-phase mode inputs. The Modicon X80 automation platform meets the requirements for TC treatment (suitable for all climate zones) and can operate in a temperature range of 0 °C to +60 °C. Modicon X80 modules provide a uniform environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures, reducing costs for spare parts inventory, maintenance, and training. It is a counter module with an input voltage of 24 V DC and a current consumption of 200 mA at 3.3 V DC bus, 80 mA at 24 V DC sensor. This input is compatible with 19.2 V to 30 V 2-wire/3-wire proximity sensors, incremental encoders with push-pull outputs, 10 V to 30 V. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
