This EIFE is an integrated Ethernet interface module designed for MasterPact MTZ circuit breakers with plug-in technology. It provides a single Ethernet access point and receives all data supplied by the MasterPact MTZ control unit. The data flow is 10/100 Mbps for easy daisy-chain connection via two RJ45 sockets. Connecting to the EIFE interface requires a ULP communication port installed on the chassis of the MasterPact MTZ. The EIFE is mounted on the terminal block of the MasterPact MTZ enclosure and connected to the ULP port via a ULP cable (not included). The EIFE is powered through the ULP port via the ULP cable. The EIFE is fully part of the EcoStruxure Power architecture and the Ethernet-enabled Smart Panels. The EIFE firmware can be updated using the EcoStruxure Power Commission software.
