XPE Plastic Foot Switch. Foot switch with plastic housing, available with or without a protective cover. Versions with a protective cover are highly recommended for areas with high risks, where unintentional machine activation can occur due to human interaction or falling objects. Foot switches with 2-stage contacts are ideal for machines with two speeds. The first stage (6 mm actuation travel) activates a set of normally open and normally closed contacts, before the second stage, after the full actuation travel (12 mm), activates the other normally open and normally closed contacts. Versions with a release mechanism allow for locking the pedal in a resting position and can only be pressed down again after a direct action. Available with or without a release mechanism in 1- or 2-stage configurations. The large pedal surface ensures good foot stability and high operating comfort. The high and wide protective cover is suitable for large safety shoes. Can be mounted flush with the floor or on a pedestal for added stability. Blue IP66 plastic housing.
