This IFM is a Modbus interface module and part of the EnerlinX communication system. It is required to connect Masterpact, Compact, and PowerPact circuit breakers to a Modbus serial line network. Once connected, the circuit breaker is regarded as a slave by the Modbus master. The Modbus address can be easily set using two rotary switches on the front. At the top, it features a 24VDC terminal block and an RJ45 connector for the Modbus serial line. At the bottom, it has two RJ45 connectors for the ULP internal network connection (Universal Logic Plug). The IFM interface is a device designed for DIN rail mounting and has dimensions of 18 mm x 72 mm x 96 mm. The protection degree is IP4x on the front and IP2x at the connections. The IFM interface is fully part of the EcoStruxure Power architecture. The firmware of the IFM interface can be updated using the EcoStruxure Power Commission software.
