The Focus Plus 550 Gold from Seasonic is a modern ATX-standard computer power supply with an 80 PLUS Gold certification. With 550 W, it provides enough power to support even high-performance components. Its high-quality construction and modular cabling make it a great choice for demanding PC builds. The 3-phase fan control promises the quietest operation possible at any load. At low loads, the fan remains off, allowing for completely silent operation. Only at around 30% load does the fan switch to silent mode with low speed. If the load exceeds 50%, the PWM-controlled cooling kicks in, causing the fan speed to increase further based on temperature. The power supply has an 80 PLUS Gold certification, ensuring excellent energy efficiency of over 87%. It also features numerous safety circuits that protect the power supply from damage due to overvoltage, overcurrent, overload, short circuits, and undervoltage.
