Servers are becoming increasingly important and are spreading at a rapid pace. In addition to large corporations, telecommunications companies, and data centers at universities, many medium-sized businesses are increasingly using their own servers to store important data. Mobile sound studios in server form are also used at concerts and large events.

A 19-inch rack is a standardized enclosure designed to hold multiple modules, each with a front panel that is 19 inches wide. Depending on the intended use, these 19-inch server racks vary in height and design. The height of individual modules is measured in U (Rack Units), with one U being 1.752 inches or 44.45 mm high.

This rack mount bracket is designed to support the installation of 3U and 4U server enclosures from SilverStone's RM series and supports a maximum weight of 35 kg. Installation can be done either tool-free or, for increased stability, with screws.
