Silverstone SST-CP10 Slimline SATA to SATA Adapter

Product details
The SATA connection has become the standard interface for PC drives. Internal HDDs, SSDs, and optical drives are almost exclusively connected to the motherboard via this interface.
For mobile devices such as notebooks or laptops, there is a special, more compact SATA connection available (Slimline), which also serves as a combination of data and power connection.
In recent years, the Slimline format has also increasingly established itself in the desktop segment, where particularly compact HTPCs that use Mini-ITX are often equipped with optical Slim drives.
This cable from SilverStone is an adapter with a SATA Slimline connection. It connects the Slim combo port (data and power) on one side with a data cable and, on the other side, with a 4-pin Molex power connection.
The data cable can be plugged into the desktop motherboard, while the Molex connection is directly powered by the power supply, supplying energy to the Slim drive. The SilverStone adapter comes in black, the data line is sleeved, and the combo connection is conveniently angled at 90 degrees.
