Installing a new hard drive or SSD into your computer can be quite cumbersome. For users who prefer convenience or are hesitant to open up their PC, practical external adapters like the SilverStone EP02 are available.
The EP02 is a handy USB 3.0 to SATA adapter that allows external data access to hard drives or SSDs. You can easily plug in a 2.5-inch SSD or hard drive and get started right away. It is also possible to connect a 3.5-inch hard drive, although this requires an optional 12V adapter.
The EP02 supports the maximum USB 3.0 transfer speed of 5 Gb/s, ensuring fast data transfers, and its very compact design makes it easy to transport.
When paired with an optional SilverStone MS07, a silicone case for 2.5-inch hard drives/SSDs, you can create an excellent enclosure for external 2.5-inch drives that is easy to use and safe to carry.
