When it was introduced in 2009, the Sugo SG05 was a true revelation in form factors originally intended for smaller computer applications. Designed for use with Mini-DTX and Mini-ITX motherboards, the SG05 accommodated most standard components while keeping everything pleasantly cool. It was the first Mini-ITX case of its size class to feature a 120mm fan and could house graphics cards up to 25.4 cm long. This groundbreaking design allowed anyone to build fast and affordable PCs in a case that didn't even reach the size of a shoebox. As SFX power supplies became increasingly popular thanks to the success of the SG05 and its successors, SilverStone decided to launch a new version of the SG05 without an SFX power supply: the SG05-Lite. This stripped-down case model is particularly cost-effective and offers users greater flexibility in component selection.
