With the EP08C, SilverStone presents a practical USB 3.1 Type-C to USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Type-A, and HDMI adapter. This compact helper meets all the requirements to output content from PCs, tablets, or smartphones in high resolution to larger display devices such as TVs, computer monitors, or projectors.

Thanks to flexible USB 3.1 Type-C switching support for DisplayPort 1.2 Alternate Mode, the adapter also enables the use of a DisplayPort cable, provided an optional HDMI to DP adapter is available.

The adapter supports data rates of 5.4 GB/s (HBR2), 2.7 GB/s (HBR), and 1.62 GB/s (RBR) per lane and also offers content protection with HDCP Rx and Tx keys to support HDCP repeaters.
