This device communicates using the telecommunications radio standard known as DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications). Take advantage of the wireless connection and move up to 50 meters away from the base station while talking indoors. Since the technology operates below 2.45 GHz, it uses different frequency ranges than WiFi or Bluetooth, so it does not interfere with these networks. Switching the base station within a multi-cell radio network is possible by forwarding to another cell.
